Trip Planning and Preparedness
- Fishing/hunting is allowed in many BC Parks; check the park specific webpage for information.
- Check the fishing/hunting regulations synopsis for the area you plan to visit.
- Ensure you have the proper licenses.
- All watercraft launching into B.C. waters are encouraged to follow the clean, drain, dry approach to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species in BC.

Hunting
Hunting in parks is regulated by the Wildlife Act and the regulations are contained in the Hunting & Trapping Regulations Synopsis. The Park Act and its regulations also apply in any Park, Conservancy, Recreation Area or Protected Area.
